FIRED FOR GETTING HIGH(PROMOTED)

I had a job for 5 years but i was fired due to a failed drug test. I had this terrible pain in my stomach and i thought it would go away by the time i had to get up for work. The pain started like around 7pm and by 3am i had not slept and i was in much pain, so i called the doctor. By 8am that same morning i was under a local hospital care. I was told i needed my appendix removed because it was about to burst! My employer tells me that when i am due to come back just see the company's nurse and thats all. A week goes by and my doc tells me take another week and i say sure. 2wks go by and now i am ready to go back to work as a supervisor asst. i tell my boss "hey i am going to see the nurse so i'll be right back". Here i go to see the nurse feeling fine and great about life because i did not die and everything is just about to get back to normal of me going to work mon-sat/sun, 40-50hrs a wk, 19.41an hr, ok but good enough benefits, 5mins away from my home(middle of loan modification), i was a temp for the same company for 41/2 years, i was just named the "worker" of the month(same month fired), 2008 employee of the year!!! man, i thought i was doing a great job and when i was told i had to miss 1week of work i was not happy! i loved my job and enjoyied what i did. i was good at it and i only wanted to get better! and improve the way things were running in any way i can. i thought i was a good guy with a good job who got high every so often just because.....life was good! It made me happier! A lot of sorry movies turn out to be pretty good! My buddies sound and look funnier! I like it when my child is laughing because everything seems fine...no i didnt  get by kids high...only on chuckie chesse pizza!... well i guess i just screwed myself!! i mean if i didnt have surgery then i would have never been tested-maybe because i would have been dead! well if i refuse the test-refusal is a termination! is part of the policy!- drug tested if injured at work( i was at my house when i was "injured") "fit for duty" policy-i passed the physical!! Inconclusive 1st test-2nd test positive thc. well i guess now i have time to blog about how can this be fair? is it really?? commen sense, i guess.........
